Should you need to return your order for any reason, guidelines are below, and for a return form click here. Please note, there are natural variances in gems and pearls that are an intrinsic part of nature's gifts, and should not be considered defects.
**If you receive your order and it is incorrect or arrived damaged, contact us at 800.690.1948, and we will take care of you immediately.
Returns for Online & Phone Orders
Harmony Scott Jewelry gladly permits exchanges/refunds for merchandise under the following conditions:
- Jewelry is unworn and in its original condition
- Jewelry includes receipt and packaging
- Jewelry is received within 14 days for a refund
- Jewelry is received within 30 days for a store credit or an exchange
Customized, altered, special ordered or 'on sale' jewelry is final sale
Mail Returns to Our Carbondale Shop:
Fill out the return form that is included in your order for the exchange or refund. Please wrap the package securely with padding or protective packaging (more than the silk pouch is recommended). Please use a secure shipping box and insure for the full value; we are not responsible for damage to any item that is improperly packaged or lost in transit when shipped back to us. Do not write ‘jewelry’ on the outside of the box as extra protection. Mail to our Carbondale shop: 199 Main Street, Carbondale, CO 81623.
Refunds will be issued after item is received back at Harmony Scott Jewelry Design upon which we will send you a store credit or refund confirmation. Refunds will be issued to the original purchasing credit card. Exchanges will be sent in 3 - 5 business days.
If you received free shipping as a promotion, shipping charges will be deducted out of your refund or credit. Charges for initial insured shipping (and return) are refunded only if the return is a result of our error - this also includes damaged merchandise.
Please Note:
- Store credits will always be put under your name.
- Store credit is redeemable for one year.
- Store credits cannot be used directly on our website. To use directly either visit our Carbondale shop or call us to place a phone order at 800.690.1948. Directions to use your store credit online indirectly: During your checkout add a note including the name the store credit is under and if you want a specific amount used. You will still need to add your credit card for payment (it will be authorized for the full total). Once we receive your completed order we will apply the store credit and only any remaining balance will be charged to the credit card provided.
Exchanges for In Store Purchases
We only offer Exchange/Store Credit for purchases made in our stores within 30 days of purchase (no refunds, no money back). You may exchange any item, excluding special orders or final sale items. You will receive the full amount of the item for exchange. If you purchased in store but don't live locally and it is within 30 days of purchase follow the shipping instructions above for your Exchange/Store Credit. Upon receipt of the item at HSJD we will let you know the amount of your exchange due or store credit issued.
We offer Returns for Online and Phone orders and NOT for in store purchases because we feel it is important that you have the opportunity to see, try on, connect and contemplate your jewelry purchase as you would with the in store experience. Unfortunately, we have had the sad experience of people purchasing an item, wearing it a few times and then wanting to return it for a full refund. As a small business, we are unable to operate this way. We hope you understand.
