What is the return policy?
As of August 1, 2021 ALL SALES ARE FINAL. We are closing our business September 6, 2021 and can no longer offer returns, exchanges, or store credit. However, is any item in your order is incorrect or damaged, please email us at email@example.com so we may find a solution. We want you to be happy and we stand behind the quality of our goods.

Exchanging In-Store Purchases
We are not able to offer exchanges of in-store purchases, store credit, or returns as we are closing our doors permanently September 6, 2021.
What happens if the jewelry I receive looks different than the item on the website?
We make our sincerest effort with our photos on the website to be a close representation of the jewelry that you will receive. However, slight variations in color, shape, size and texture of gemstones, pearls and precious metals are not only natural, but are actually an added element of beauty. This creates distinction of making a piece feel alive, unique and handmade. So your jewelry is truly one of a kind! Natural things have the nuance of difference, and we feel our work’s strength is in its individuality. That being said, if you feel that the jewelry you have received is not to your satisfaction, we want to hear from you so we can correct the feeling.
How to use my store credit, paper gift card or loyalty points online?
- As of August 2, 2021, Loyalty Points may not be used in conjunction with our storewide Final Closing Sale. Thank you for your years of support!
- Store credit and gift certificates may be used until we close our doors September 6, 2021. However, these credits cannot be used directly on our website. To use directly either visit our Carbondale shop or call us to place a phone order at 800.690.1948.
Instructions on how to use credits indirectly for online orders:
During your checkout add a note including the name or account the credit is under, type of credit, and if you want a specific amount used. For example, "Apply my $50 gift card, under Jane Doe, card #9104 to my order. I think I have $20 left on my store credit under Jane Doe please apply all available credit."
You will still need to add your credit card for payment (it will be authorized for the full total). Once we receive your completed order we will apply your credits and only any remaining balance will be charged to the credit card provided.
I am ordering a gift - do you gift wrap?
Great choice! We are happy to mail any gifts for you, wrapped and with a card. Gift or not, every Harmony Scott piece is lovingly packaged in brocade satin pouches for a beautiful presentation and safe storage. For an extra touch, we can put your pouch in a black gift boxes with an organza gold bow for no extra charge. For wrapping and a card to be included, it must be noted upon the placement of your order. Simply state in the ‘notes’ section of our checkout that your jewelry purchase is a gift and you would like it wrapped. To personalize your order, include a message to the receiver in our notes section as well and we will include it with your order.

Gemstones can also influence your choice, whether is the birthstone guide or looking into the metaphysical properties to set the intention of your gift.
What is your shipping policy?
Shipping is not included in the cost of our jewelry, and must be paid in addition to your products. We ship USPS Priority Flat Rate Boxes. Every order is fully insured and packaged with tissue and satin bags. Upon placing your order, your pieces will be shipped within 1-2 business days, and an email with your tracking number and confirmation will be sent. After your order is shipped, expect to receive your jewelry within 3-5 business days. If you ordered under your account, enjoy live tracking of your order. Shipping for returns or exchanges must be paid for by the customer.
In-Store Pick Up
Select pick up for our Carbondale store. In-store picks are typically ready within 1 business day but we will notify you once your order is ready. Pick up during shop hours, 10AM to 6PM, Monday through Saturday.
Do you ship internationally?
Due to COVID-19 effects on the postal systems worldwide we do not currently offer international shipping on our website. If you'd like to inquire about a purchase requiring international shipping please first email us at firstname.lastname@example.org before placing your order

How do I choose the right necklace or bracelet length?
The best way to estimate the right length for you is to measure a necklace or bracelet that fits the way you like. People have very different neck & wrist sizes, so when in doubt, measure! Many of our pieces are adjustable to offer you the ideal fit. Check out the guide here.

Do you do repairs, replacements, and is there a warranty?
All of our jewelry includes a one year warranty to fix any defect that shows up under normal wear, free of charge. See our complete Warranty Policy here to learn about jewelry "no, no's" and exceptions to warranty coverage. After one year, we will charge a nominal fee for the repair, along with shipping and insurance.
Harmony and Crystal personally do all the repairs in-house. After we close September 6, 2021, Crystal will be offering limited repair services. Certain designs cannot be remade or replaced due to the intricacy of the work or the specific gemstones needed for the task. We are always happy to work with you, and your satisfaction is our priority, just bring in the pieces you have to our Carbondale shop. If you don't live locally please first contact us by phone or email before mailing any jewelry.
Replacements - what happens if I lose an earrings?
If we are unable to match your single earring, we are happy to turn your earring into a pendant by wrapping a charm ring on it, starting at $10. Just contact us and we will do our best to help you.

How to clean and take care of my new jewelry?
Good storage, care and cleaning of your jewelry will make it last much longer. Much of it depends on the materials in each piece. Click here for our in depth Jewelry Care, Cleaning, and Storage article.
General tips for care and cleaning Harmony Scott Jewelry are:
- Metal tarnish remover are harsh, and can discolor and damage the gemstones and pearls in your jewelry and strip gold filled, plated, vermeil in your jewelry. Only use jewelry cleaners safe for all gemstones and pearls and be aware of your metal type.
- Tarnishing is expedited by chemicals, oils & air compounds (i.e. hairspray, perfume, lotion, sunscreen and air pollution).
- The bathroom is the worst place to store your jewelry due to the humidity. Store your jewelry in a case or bags that are keep out of humid and sunny areas.
- Don't shower or go into the water with your jewelry on. Especially water with chemical additives like chlorine or sulfur in hot springs.

Special Orders are Final Sale! We are making the piece specifically for you and it is not refundable or exchangeable. Of course we will work with you through this process to ensure your satisfaction, but want you to be certain before we start designing.
Do you do adjustments or alterations to the jewelry?
See something you love but wish it was just a little longer or short? Or perhaps wish one part of it was different - just a gemstone removed or added? We can shorten and lengthen, change clasps on, or update most Harmony Scott Jewelry pieces.
