Our Earrings by Georgie

Spiral Gold Earrings by Georgie Fractal Earrings by Georgie

"I focus on creating truly unique designs that are produced to the highest quality. Something to wear everyday, that lasts a lifetime, that looks beautiful, is comfortable and that people will notice.

Initially I started my business as a way to help finance my life as a single, traveling mom, selling pieces that I had collected or made. Nowadays I live in Bali with my production taking place in Celuk, the center for silversmithing in the heart of Bali.

My inspiration mainly comes from nature, the patterns on leaves, trees, flowers and seeds. I also love indigenous and tribal antique jewellery from around the world, anything with a one-off or handmade feel.

I work with a small team, Mr. Nyoman and his wife, who organise and feed the guys who do the hand finishing of my earrings and ear weights.
And a small casting factory "Intan Sakti", who take my sample piece and create the mould then cast in brass using the lost wax technique.

My beautiful assistant Septiyari deals with everything else from quality control over shipping to accounting. She is amazing!

I have been producing jewellery for many years and in many places like India and Nepal, but after producing in Bali, I would never go anywhere else. The Balinese craftsmanship mixed with their friendliness and overall good feeling makes working here a joy."

Angie Oakins Hoop Earrings

  Angie Oakins Asymmetical Earrings

"Inspired by nature and an adventure seeker, Angie's jewelry offers a unique presentation of raw stones (sapphires, rubies and diamonds) and refined gems (cabochons) set in sterling silver and gold--exquisite and attractive for both everyday style and for the timeless elegance for daily adornment or for special occasions.

Out natural environment gives us balance through asymmetry-- as embodied by the beauty of these sacred stones that shine through all the natural change and physical hardship they have endured, which contributes to their growth and form. The jewelry created by Oakins offers a simple and elegant compliment to all of the moments and events that we have to celebrate and experience in life.

Angie's designs are intended to reflect the evolution of our love for nature and the ability to capture and appreciate life in its organic state of beauty."

Brass and Silver Necklace by Ana Rendon Sanders

Ana Rendon Sanders was born in Columbia, South America. Her family moved to Tucson, AZ, where she spent her adolescence in a bilingual, bicultural home. Ana later attended Northern Arizona University where she was formally trained in ceramic arts and metalsmithing, earning her BFA.

Her sense of adventure led Ana to travel throughout Europe and Morocco, but her love of the desert took her to Boulder, Utah where she spent a summer exploring the spectacular scenery of the area. Ana was drawn to root herself in the community and allow her life to blossom. In the company of her husband and now her daughter, Ana has journeyed along many creative paths: nurturing gardens, learning the art of primitive pottery, and discovering the breadth of the fiber arts through various forms of spun, woven, knit, and felted fiber textiles.

Ana's current work in metal smithing celebrates the plasticity and intrinsic beauty of silver, brass and gold. Her overall focus is in forged metals, which she personally hand forges. Ana enjoys exploring the intricate patterns found in nature. The study of these details often finds expression in her jewelry. Ana's jewelry designs are available in boutiques and galleries within Utah, and now Colorado through Harmony Scott Jewelry Design.
